Attila Vígh’s career took off almost 10 years ago. At the time he was working as a producer for almost infinite number of foreign, well-known DJs such as Thomas Gold, John Dahlback, Tom Novy, The Cube Guys. The success from these projects could be measured by the countless invites to perform not only in Hungary, but also abroad (Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Serbia, Austria).
Since 2013 he is the resident DJ at UP!The Club and Siófok’s Palace Dance Club, and had the honor to play at various festivals (Balaton Sound, Sziget) and venues (Bed Beach, Studio – both in Budapest)
His first breakthrough under his new stagename (Willcox) was a remix for Fedde Le Grand’s 2015 hit „Put Your Hands Up for Detriot”, which was played by popular acts like Don Diablo, Henry Fong, Pep & Rash, MAKJ, Bob Sinclar, but received great play by his Hungarian colleagues: Stereo Palma, Newik, Antonyo among many others. In 2016 he won „best new act” and in 2017 he was nominated „Best producer” at the Ballantines Music Awards.
His first original music was released as „Day N Night”, which pretty much summed up that Willcox’s music can be enjoyed at any time of the day, and almost instantly grasped the audience with it’s dynamics and harmonys. Since then he released „Let It Go”, „Remember” and „In My Head” all of which was welcomed both by his fans and the scene.
